BLOGGERS ARRESTED
Azerbaijan_Youth_Movement Reports that two men approached and attacked Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizade, two NGO leaders. Milli and Hajizade went to report the incident at Baku State Police Station. Following their account of the attack they were arrested on charges of hooliganism, along with the the two men they claim to have attacked them. However, later that day, the two assailiants were released whilst Hazjide and Milli were detained pending trial for hooliganism.

Letter states that the organisation believe the charges against the two activists are ‘baseless’

COURT APPEAL UPHELD
The Court announced it’s decline of the attorny’s appeal of the case, and the charge of Hooliganism was given to both Hajizade and Milli consisting of two months pre-trial detention. A number of international human rights watchdogs condemned the arrest and called charges implausible.
